Strategy-Led, AI-Powered: How a Trauma Therapy Practice Grew Visibility Without Adding to Its Workload

A solo psychotherapy and trauma counselling practice had built a strong clinical reputation through referrals and word of mouth, and like most practitioners running a full caseload, the client had almost no time to dedicate to marketing, and knew that whatever was done had to work without pulling focus away from clients.

THE CHALLENGE

A Trusted Practice, Invisible Online

Trust is the currency of a therapy practice, and trust is hard to build through a quiet website and inconsistent posting. The practice's blog wasn't structured for how people, or increasingly, AI assistants, actually search for a therapist. Social channels saw little engagement, and there was bare-minimum presence at all on emerging AI search platforms like ChatGPT and Perplexity, where a growing number of prospective clients now start their search.

The real constraint wasn't strategy; it was capacity. The client needed an expert-led marketing engine that could run largely on its own, with minimal time investment and no learning curve for new tools.

WHAT WE DID

A Senior Marketing Strategy, Executed by AI

TUVI (The Upadhyays Ventures Inc.) led with strategy first: a content and channel plan grounded in how trauma-informed clients actually search for and vet a therapist, then built the systems to execute that plan with almost no ongoing effort required from the client.

1. AI search optimization, built on a real content strategy

Blog content was restructured and optimized specifically for AI-powered search engines, not just traditional SEO, so the practice would surface directly when prospective clients asked ChatGPT or Perplexity for a therapist recommendation. This was strategic positioning work, informed by how generative search actually ranks and cites practitioners, not a plugin or a checklist.

2. AI-generated video content to humanize social presence

Rather than asking the client to script, film, and edit content, the highest-friction part of social media for any solo practitioner, we used AI-generated talking-head video to produce consistent, personal-feeling content for social channels. This gave the practice a real, recognizable presence in the feed without requiring camera time, editing skills, or hours of the client's week. Every video was reviewed and approved by the client before publishing, so the practice's voice and comfort level stayed fully in their control.

3. Platform-native, consistently scheduled social content

Beyond video, we built and scheduled a steady cadence of platform-tailored content across Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn — matched to how each audience actually engages, so the practice stayed active and visible even during the client's busiest clinical weeks.

4. Connecting social visibility to the website

Every piece of content, video and static alike, was designed to route interested visitors back to the website, turning social reach into a real, trackable acquisition channel instead of a vanity metric.

Throughout, the work was managed end-to-end by our team: strategy, content creation, scheduling, and monthly optimization, the client's role was limited to approvals, keeping their time investment close to zero.

THE RESULT

Measurable Growth, Minimal Client Effort

Comparing the three months after the engagement began to the three months prior, the practice saw substantial gains across every channel — without the client taking on any additional marketing workload:

  • Website traffic grew 21% overall

  • ChatGPT-driven traffic grew 6X, and the site earned its first-ever visit from Perplexity AI — early signs of durable visibility in AI-powered search

  • LinkedIn-driven website traffic grew nearly 19X, and post views grew 3X

  • Facebook engagement grew 29X, with post views up 19X, and Facebook-driven traffic grew 3X

  • Instagram engagement grew 16X, with post views up 11X, and Instagram generated website visits for the first time

The AI-generated video content played a particular role in the engagement gains, giving the practice's social presence a personal, human face without the time cost that normally makes video the first thing solo practitioners cut from their marketing plan.

The bigger result is structural: the practice now has a marketing system that runs in the background, strategist-directed, AI-executed, freeing the client to spend their limited time on clients, not content calendars.

Sound familiar?

Most of the practices and small businesses we work with are stretched exactly this thin, strong work, no time for marketing. Let's talk about yours — no commitment, no jargon.
